I started in residential property management at twenty, learning the business under my mother, Mona. The variety is what hooked me. What began as a temporary job turned into a two-decade career.
The "BP" in BPRE honors my late grandmother, Barbara Porter. She wasn't in real estate, but her work ethic set the standard for our whole family, and that's the standard I built this company on.
I founded BPRE in June 2023, went full-time in January 2025, and opened our first standalone office in Portsmouth, Virginia in March 2026. Today BPRE is a commercial brokerage with a residential department, licensed in Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, and Georgia.
Beyond the brokerage, I founded BP School of Real Estate, a Virginia DPOR-licensed school where I teach the next generation of agents. I serve on the Hampton Roads REALTORS Association Board of Directors, sit on the Virginia REALTORS Board of Property Management, and I'm pursuing my CCIM designation.
My personal brand, Fresh Kicks & Fresh Moves, is the shorthand for how I show up: sharp on the details, light on the ego, and always ready to walk into a deal in something that makes you look twice.
