I started in residential property management at twenty, learning the business under my mother Mona's mentorship. The variety is what hooked me, what started as a temporary job grew into an eighteen-year career.
The "BP" in BPRE honors my late grandmother, Barbara Porter. While she wasn't in real estate. What she was, was someone whose work ethic set the standard for our entire family — and that's the standard I built this company on.
I founded BPRE in June 2023, went all-in full-time in January 2025, and in March 2026 opened our first standalone office in Portsmouth, Virginia. Today, BPRE is a commercial-first, full-service brokerage licensed in Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, and Georgia — with seven revenue streams spanning sales, leasing, property management, investor consulting, and education.
Beyond the brokerage, I own BP School of Real Estate, a Virginia DPOR-licensed institution where I teach the next generation of agents. I serve on the Hampton Roads REALTORS Association Board of Directors, sit on the Virginia REALTORS Board of Property Management, and I'm pursuing my CCIM designation.
My personal brand — Fresh Kicks & Fresh Moves — is the shorthand for how I show up: sharp on the details, light on the ego, and always ready to walk into the deal in something that makes you look twice.
